Terms of Use

Swipelis · Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and 2502957 ALBERTA LTD. ("we", "us", "Swipelis") governing your use of the Swipelis mobile app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial language learning, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country of residence.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: copying, distributing, or reverse-engineering the App or its content; interfering with its operation or security; or using it in violation of any law. All lessons, videos, text, and other content in the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

4. Subscriptions, free trials & renewals

The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.

Refunds. Because all purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's App Store terms and applicable law — we cannot directly issue refunds. To request a refund, use Apple's process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your region are not affected by this section.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular learning outcome.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time — directly within the App, or by contacting us at support@swipelis.com.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
